I, like most of you, spent a lot of money on eBooks and other courses to learn how to improve my business… and, unfortunately, most of them turned out to be full of the same generic advice that you can find anywhere, nothing new.
I’m not very enthusiastic about purchasing informational products, especially within the make money online niche because there are too much junk out there and I’m not keen on wasting more cash.
I usually only buy products from people I trust.
Still, as I’m new to the whole list building aspect of online business, I decided to grab a copy of Ben Martin’s Mailing for Money video course…
It’s rather cheap and there’s not much to lose, so I clicked the buy button and my thoughts are compiled in this Mailing for Money review.
I never heard of Ben Martin before but I decided to buy the product simply because someone who I know and follow online recommended it.
Mailing for Money Review: Keep in Mind…
Before we begin, I would like to take a moment to let you know that you can expect more product reviews in the future, and honest reviews, not reviews that are full of praise just to make you click on an affiliate link.
You’re searching Google for a Mailing for Money review because you’re curious what’s behind the sales page and you’re wondering if it’s worth your cash. I respect that, and I’m not here to send you to a sales page, I’m here to show you what you can expect from this product so you know exactly what you’re getting into.
P.S. Skip this review and head straight to the website!
I will only write honest reviews and share my honest opinions, if I like a product, I’ll recommend it, if not, I’ll make sure that you don’t make the same mistake. These reviews are completely opinion based so you might not agree with my stance and that’s okay!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Lastly, I’m open to reviewing eBooks and other products, if you want me to review your product, feel free to get in touch and I’ll let you know if I have time to write a review for you, likewise, if you want me to write reviews for your website, all you have to do is send me a message.
I also love reading books on my Kindle so if you publish a book for free on Amazon please let me know and I’ll check it out and leave a review on Amazon for you.
Without further delay, let me show you what this Mailing for Money review is all about.

Mailing for Money Review:
What is Mailing for Money?
Two sections: Training and Cold Conversions with 6 video modules each.
The Training is all about how to manage your list and craft emails that people want to read and how to convert them into sales, 6 videos that breakdown the theory and show you what to you need to do.
The Cold Conversions section is all about how to find traffic and how to quickly build a list with services like Solo ads and others. This section is perfect for people who already know the basics and what they need to do as far as emails are concerned but are not sure how to go about building a list.
It’s not all about how to create a website or some super sneaky trick, it’s solid email marketing advice, and a lot of this lessons can be applied to other areas of your business, like article titles, and much more.
I’m sure I don’t need to remind you how powerful email marketing can be and how much you can earn if you have a large list or a small list of dedicated fans.
Mailing for Money consists of 6 modules dedicated to various topics of email marketing such as subject lines, content ideas, copy-writing secrets, how to find offers to promote, and much more.
Below are some of the modules that you can expect in the member’s area.
So, it’s an in-depth course dedicated to email marketing and you’ll learn a lot of cool and useful secrets that you can implement to drastically boost your mailing list income. There’s also a downloadable PDF file but the videos files are not downloadable.
Let’s take a look at what I like most about this product.
What I Liked: Mailing for Money Pros:
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this product because it’s cheaper than most products and, most of the time, these type of video courses don’t contain much useful information.
On that note, I was pleasantly surprised when I started watching the videos and realized that there’s a bunch of really valuable tips inside!
The voice-over is decent, there were some quality issues and you could tell that the speaker wasn’t using the best quality microphone but you can understand everything that he says so there’s no problem.
Each video is about 20 minutes long – some longer than others – the longest was around 30 minutes in total. I usually let the videos play in the background while I do other work or play around on my laptop.
Obviously I can’t mention all the golden tips that are mentioned in the videos, but I can mention a few to give you an idea of what to expect within the member’s area.
One tip that stood out to me was about how to come up with creative email subject lines. Ben suggests that you look back on your life and try to turn a scene from your life into a marketing lesson. He explains that if you do this it will trigger people’s curiosity and they’ll feel the need to click on the link and open the email, and it makes sense too!
Basically, it’s all about sharing a story from your life to hook people into reading the rest of the email and purchase a product from you.
As a blogger and freelance writer, this tip really resonated with me because bloggers need to use stories to make their articles come to life, and it’s something that I have been trying to improve.
He also talks about the seven deadly sins and how you should craft each email to target at least one of the sins for optimal conversions, a tip that anyone who wants to make sales should keep in mind.
Additionally, he also mentions several websites where you can borrow subject ideas, like Men’s Health and others. The idea is to check out what headlines work and use similar headlines for your email subjects. It’s vital to work on your headlines and subject lines, these tips can drastically boost your email conversions.
It’s important to keep in mind that you shouldn’t copy the headlines word for word because that would be considered plagiarizing and that’s not a good idea, instead, consider changing the structure around to match the subject of your email.
It’s a brilliant idea that I honestly never though about before!
So, he shows you how easy it is to come up with email content and subjects… it doesn’t even have to be anything crazy or totally unique, but as long as it has a person touch and has a solid point then it’s okay.
I understand most people are not sure how to write email content and they don’t know what topics to discuss, well, this product will make that easy for you. These tips will help you craft high converting emails in only a few minutes and these emails can be added to a email sequence and re-used many times over!
Ben also mentions something that copywriters have been saying for a long time; grammar rules go out the window when it comes to sales. Write emails that sound like you’re talking to the reader because it makes a huge difference.
Basically, don’t be afraid to write what’s on your mind and just have a conversation with your list, talk about anything and everything; it’s okay!
It’s really quite easy!
The fourth module is all about different sales tips that you can use to improve conversions and how to build trust. Remember what I said at the beginning of this article? I don’t usually buy products from people I don’t know.
As it turns out, most people are like that too, and if you want to improve conversions than you have to build trust and get to know your list, because they want to buy from someone they trust.
Trust is so important when it comes to building a list. It’s probably the most important thing that you need when it comes to improving conversions!
What I Think Could Use Improvement:
All in all, I like more about this course than I dislike, and I can’t really be too picky because it’s quite cheap and I wasn’t really expecting that much in the first place.
First off, I didn’t like the fact that you can’t download the videos. It’s possible to download a PDF file but there’s something about watching a video or listening to a video that makes the content stick in your head, it’s easy to forget what you read, at least, it is for me.
So, I wish he would make the videos downloadable!
Secondly, there’s not much mention of how to build a list… it’s assumed that you already have a list, at least, that’s the feeling that I got when going through the training material.
I wish there was some more info on how to create a list, not just how to create an offer that converts, but how to set up email auto-responders and other tricks.
There are a couple of videos that mention creating a lead magnet, and though the tips are good, it felt like the topic was brushed over and not given much attention, and that’s one of the topics that interest me the most yet there wasn’t much info about it in this course.
Third, there are quite a few up-sells.
This was a little bit of a bother, once I purchased the product, I had to navigate through 5 pages of up-sells, it was a little bothersome.
To conclude this Mailing for Money review, I think it’s a good, solid, training course that you can use to bring in some cash.
There are only a few things that I didn’t like about the product but the value provided far outweigh the downsides.
So, if you want to learn how to earn money with email marketing I suggest you take a look and this product, it’s really cheap so there’s not much to lose!
But grab it soon before the price increases!
(it’s only $8 and there’s a 30 day money-back guarantee)
