Want to turn your blog into a successful business? Then follow the bloggers listed below!
Most people blog as a past time, it’s something to do when you’re bored, a casual hobby of sorts.
And that’s why most people don’t make money from their blogs!
Combine that with self-doubts and lack of drive and you have the perfect recipe for failure.
But I’m here to tell you that it’s not all hopeless.
There’s no reason you can’t turn your blog into a business – a successful business.
The truth is that you can turn almost any blog into a profitable business if you treat it like a business and take it seriously!
This would be the part where I recommend my coaching or re-direct you to an affiliate offer… but I’m not going to do that.
Instead, I’m going to share some of my favorite bloggers and you can scavenge their website’s for the information that you need to drastically improve your own website.
Don’t Have a Website?
Why not? It’s fun and you learn a ton about online business.
You can start a blog for free on sites like Blog Spot but I don’t recommend that because you don’t have as much control. You have to follow the companies rules.
What I recommend is using a hosting company, installing WordPress, and use that to blog your heart out.
Follow These Bloggers:
During my time researching online business advice, I discovered quite a few websites that provide absolutely gold advice, free advice, that you can use to drastically improve your website.
If you follow these bloggers and read all the articles on their websites you’ll have a perfect foundation of knowledge that will give you a head start on your competition.
The only thing remaining is for you to take action and act on that knowledge; and that’s your decision, not mine.
Note: I gain nothing from recommending these bloggers and the list is not ordered in order of importance but rather the order at which they popped into my head.
So, let’s get started with the list…
I found this blog awhile ago and I have been watching Ryan’s progress and his productivity is always remarkable.
The reason I like this blog is because the articles are always in-depth and each article is as long as short book. Speaking of books, Ryan has over 120 books on Amazon!
I also like the regular travel stories and pictures.
The website is proof that Ryan knows what he is talking about because he lives the life and his articles and free advice teach you how you can do the same.
It’s refreshing to come across someone who has a genuine unique voice and walks the walk.
Ryan’s blog taught me the importance of publishing monster articles and networking with other bloggers.
So, thanks Ryan!
Bold and Determined by Victor Pride is the go-to website for men.
It’s a massive website that covers a wide range of topics such as relationships, body-building, business, motivation, and much more.
I have been following the blog for a few years…
And though some people might say his writing is too cocky and a little arrogant, I don’t mind.
I like to follow blogs where the author writes with a unique and genuine voice.
He gets straight to the point and each sentence in his articles has a purpose, his writing is direct and powerful, it motivates you to take action, whether that action is lifting weights or creating a successful business.
Once more, Victor doesn’t write about what he doesn’t know, all the articles are backed by real-life evidence and proof.
In short, it’s an awesome website that men can use to improve various aspects of their life. It’s geared more towards men but women can benefit from it as well.
So, check it out.
3. Income Diary
Income Diary is the go-to website for online business advice. It’s the largest website in the niche and also the most popular.
And it’s the most popular for a reason: the articles are well-written and each article aims to solve a specific problem that people who work online are likely to encounter.
It makes the path to online success a lot easier, I have found myself unintentionally landing on articles on Income Diary solely because they rank the highest in search engine results.
The website is also a case study about online business.
I also noticed their business model is slightly different from most; all their income comes from their courses which are sold via their email list.
There’s no pop-ups or other annoying advertisements.
So, check it out.
This website focuses on blogger’s issues and how to get the best results for your website whether that’s more traffic, conversions, or social shares.
What I like most about this website is that it’s easy to read, the theme is optimized for an ideal reading experience.
Another thing that I like about this website is that Sue tends to interact with her followers and almost always replies to comments left on her articles.
She’ll even take the time to leave comments on other websites, something that most bloggers (especially popular bloggers) don’t do.
This gives the website a human touch, and, like Ryan, she also networks with many different bloggers.
Matthew’s blog is awesome for several reasons.
For starters, it’s very transparent and you can check out his income reports and follow his progress from day one, it’s all on file.
Secondly, I like it because it focuses on affiliate marketing and how to make the most from your affiliate offers.
The articles are also really easy to read and there are a lot of case studies and tutorials that you can follow to boost your business performance.
It’s a website that has been around for awhile but it has not lost it’s touch, it still delivers top-notch and helpful articles.
You’ll learn almost all that there is to know about affiliate marketing and how to create a online business.
One of my favorite tips from this website is that places emphasis on creating a business to provide value and solve a problem instead of chasing the cash; an important tip that many bloggers don’t know (and it can save you a lot of heart-ache too).
At a glance, Boost Blog Traffic might seem like another website that caters to the needs of online marketers but when you dig a little deeper you’ll realize it’s much more than that.
I found this website a few times, and thought the articles were really helpful.
But it wasn’t until recently that I discovered the website was created by someone who lost almost all muscle function and can only communicate with his voice.
His name is John Morrow, and he has a type of muscular dystrophy since he was little, a condition that most people die from within a few years, and he’s confined to his wheelchair.
Of course, that didn’t stop him from creating being a highly successful businessman, online and offline.
He studied writing and learned all the formulas to create successful articles; articles that are shared by millions of people.
His story is not just inspiring but his website is also full of extremely useful articles and most guest posts as well.
So, I highly recommend checking it out.
7. Quick Sprout
Quick Sprout is another go-to website for online business advice.
I noticed that most people who need article writers will use the articles on Quick Sprout as an example of what they want and need.
That’s not a coincidence.
Quick Sprout publishes arguably the best articles on online business advice, not to mention all the case studies and free video tutorials.
It’s all there for you to consume for free.
I particularly like the quality of the articles and how they’re all in-depth, lengthy, and well-formatted.
It’s a tip that I have been trying to incorporate in my articles and so far the results have been quite positive.
Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on courses, why not take a look at some free resources?
Following popular bloggers is one of the best ways to learn how its done.
I know you probably won’t follow all of these bloggers because you want to keep your email inbox relatively clean.
But if you follow a few of them or even two of them; you’ll be able to stay up-to-date on the latest business tips and tricks.
You can then take that advice and apply it to your business and watch as your business grows!
There are still a few tips that you can take away from this article, the most important being that in order to create a successful website you need to focus on value and write with a unique voice and perspective.
Travel pictures are always a plus!
